Lastly, I would like a "time-out" function that automatically inactivates a drug if a time period is entered in the sig: like " 1 tab BID x 10 days" , so that common short term rx's don't keep accumulating, requiring deletion.
The above was posted last summer. Anyone know if a solution has been found? The Quick Script Writer (which I don't use) has 'duration' as an option, but I think that is just to calculate the quantity prescribed... but let me know if I'm wrong.
My only other solution (besides inactivating them at the subsequent visit) is to inactivate it seconds after transmitting it, but I'd like an auto-inactivation if possible.
