I have received no Rx requests for the last 2 days. could be random but it seems unlikely. 5.1.7. Anyone else noticed this?

Sorry false alarm I guess. I just checked with my busiest pharmacy and they hadn't sent me any requests. Had them send me a fake one and it worked fine. The calm before the storm....

I have not had incoming e-prescription request in weeks. but can send out just fine. What gives? Also - anyone know how to list provider name on e-prescriptions from mid-level. pharmacies won't take my midlevel's e-Rx

I would check with a local pharmacy first and see if they have sent you any and you could ask them to send you a fake Rx. Fake vicodin might not be such a good idea but I just noticed Bert's response from two weeks ago. LOL

I've had the same issue as Dr. Santos for some time after everything had been working perfectly. I can send out without problems but receiving seems to default to the printer now. Pharmacies clueless (yeah, what else is new?)

All the Rxs from this morning have failed to multiple pharmacies. The ones coming in are not automatically showing up, either.

Working fine for us, receiving pharmacy requests, and eprescriptions we send out are verified.

I receive Medco, Rite-Aid and some other refill requests electronically but the CVS and Caremark requests keep coming by fax. I spoke to CVS Caremark and found out why. So the 2 main"hubs" of ERX recently merged and are in the process of merging their computer systems. If the pharmacy asking for the E-RX used the same system as our NEWCROPS then they will reach us. So that means that Medco and whoever else is able to e-request. The other dis-similar systems can only request refills by fax. They send it to us electronically but then it drops to fax.

Now, on our side, we can electronically send to any pharmacy and I am guessing it then drops to fax again if the system is not similar to ours. These systems will not be merged until late next year so do not expect this to change any time soon.

I was just refilling meds and noticed CVS had sent us an electronic refill request, so it is possible.

Thanks for the update. I last spoke to CVS Caremark about 2 weeks ago. I have yet to receive any CVS electronic requests. Perhaps the Hubs are different in different states.
