what is best option for saving videos of patients (toe tapping/finger tapping/ walking (gait) - One way of doing it is to import your video file in the IMPORT section of AC in the patients chart Grenville

Grenville's answer is the best option. If you import it into the main program, your database is going to surpass the 4GB mark rather quickly.

Did you import it from the patient's chart or did you just save it to that patient's folder directly?

I have tried saving in import section - but the next time I got to that patients chart, I get an error message "some files not found" . 1. What type of file are you trying to import? 2. Does your computer has the software to play that file type? 3. Where is location of the file you are trying to IMPORT into AC? 4. Have you checked to see if the file shows up in the IMPORT section once you done the import? Having this information might help Grenville

Dariush,
What I mean is are you actually importing it from the chart by dragging and dropping or using the import feature or, give it is so big, are you putting the video in the chart in the ImportedItems folder.

Yes, no matter what you do, it will end up in the ImportItem folder in the AC folder. If you import it normally, the file will be in the folder, and you will have a link to it. If you move it directly into the patient's folder in the ImportItem folder, then you will have to make the link manually.

I wasn't aware I could just drag and drop - Patti (office staff) Sounds like that old silly song "Troglodyte" "He'd grab her by the hair. And drag her and drop her."
