It would really be great to have a billing program that complimented AC!! We have to change programs asap due to computer upgrading.

We will need to change as well so we are going to use Office Ally which is free pending the "imminent" release of ACs own practice mgmt program.

I do not understand why you have to change your PM asap because of computer upgrading. . .

The current computer is a 32-bit windows program. The new one is a 64-bit program. I emailed my contact about needing new computer. Didn't hear back. After a week, we ordered the new system. THEN, I received reply that the current billing program is NOT 64-bit compatible. She advised she had a computer I could purchase but we already had the new one on the way!!

We are switching to using what AC has for now and up-loading to Office Ally but I have run into situation that are a bit of a problem. If pt doesnt have insurance, it will still upload to office ally. The is no way to split charges (part to insurance and part not to insurance/self pay). I sure hope AC has the practice management up ASAP!!

Be aware, if you are using Quest labs and want to bridge the demographic to their system (so u dont have to input it for each patient) their software only works on 32-bit Win7. It can be installed on any of your machines (not just the "server") as long as it is 32 bit.

We have to switch by Jan 1st because of the new 5010 transition. We no longer have a support contract for our PM system.
