Hi- first time using the board, so sorry about any mistakes. We have printed off a report and the CQMs show many passing marks, but all of the numbers are zero. Are we entering the data incorrectly? I have already watched the demos and webinars, and no explanation.

You need to read the conversations on the Meaningful Use forum - it explains how to take care of this. I think Wendell and Steven have both posted instructions on how to fix this issue.

Can you tell us exactly where this is explained? I have all the cpt codes added as I always code with signing off the encounter but I still have zero.....except now I suddenly have one numerator with zeros for denominators. I have gone through the help area and read the urgent mu thread and still I'm having trouble. I'm on V6.0.10 and it still isn't working.

Here - a cut and paste from Wendell's instructions in discussion:

FROM WENDELL'S DISCUSSION AND RESPONSE:

I am not doing this because IL Medicaid is not up to speed but....

If you are doing superbills (printing claim forms qualifies) you SHOULD be entering in the info needed.

To go back and put in the coding is not a big deal, but a bit time consuming. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT CODES NEED TO BE ENTERED BUT...

On the main screen, go to billing and the second item (or Control and D)
Pick the date (or dates) you want to edit. This will bring up a list of names.

If you click on one of the names, the billing section of the chart for that person will open.

You then click on Add CPT (lower middle third) and add the necessary CPT.

You pick a code (99213) and probably add a dx (htn, IDDM, ect)
Click "Save Changes" (lower R corner) and then close the chart.

It may ask you for pricing, I'm not sure. Doesn't matter because once a price is in, it will not ask again.

Yaaay....not sure what we did differently but we now have reports with all the fields populated and have a pass for everything except one item that is almost there....maybe two weeks or less and we can attest!!

Thanks so much everyone! Went back and added codes(even though we have an outside biller), and we have good numbers. One hurdle jumped!
