One of the other use-cases that benefits from UpDox is typified in a client on our hosted platform that practices in multiple locations with different staffs.
UpDox becomes the conduit by which documents that require action from the Doctor are routed to her, and then they are faxed and tracked in one location.
Still working out the kinks of the workflow, but the end-goal is to reduce the amount of work, paper, clicks, and time while centralizing work for the Doc; she can tackle things on her time-table and independent of location.
