Installing Amazing Charts on our transcriptionist's computer remotely.

Whenever I run the installer, MS Word pops up and tries to (seemingly) open up one of the files that is in the installer "ACPRER~1" .

Of course it cant read the file, and when i close, the install continues normally and finishes. However, it throws an error on startup and asks for me to run the program as an admin, as it has a registry error. It throws the same error when i 'Run As'.

Any way to change the default filetype associations with this??? Any insight?

Successfully upgraded to AC V6.10 last week and everything works fine.
Upgrading/Installing on wired computers went without any problems.
Upgrading on wireless compluters gave me the same problem.
I unstalled AC & hard wired(R45 -ethernet cable) the wireless laptops and the installation went fine.
The wirelss computers works fine .
This will definetely solve your problem as long as you hard wire your wireless computer during the install
Hope this helps.

Interestingly enough, my .msi Files were set to default open in 'word'. Just changed the filetype association and its fixed.
