Everytime we call WPS they change their mind about flu shot codes for this year. Does it depend on your Medicare contractor?

We have submitted several that have been rejected for the wrong code (that they gave us). We are getting frustrated.

Have you tried using Q2035-2038 codes? It depoends on the manufacturer of the vaccine

We have tried to edit the codes on AC to include these new Q codes and it is a no go. Is there something outside of "edit" that we should be doing?

To edit your CPT database:
View>Administrator Options>Enter Admin Password>Tools>CPT Database - Modify Available Codes>Select Bubble at Bottom to Add New Code>Enter your new code with description, fee, etc. We have also used this feature to make up codes for late-cancellation fees and medical records request fees for life insurance companies and such.

I had to add the appropriate Q code into amazing charts. You can add codes into the system that are not there. Go to view, cpt code then edit cpt. There is an option to "add" at the bottom of that box.
