I am running AC just fine on a wireless network. There was a time when my network was extremely slow, due to an idiotic misapplication of wireless technology, but there was never a time when it didn't work.

I think if your network doesn't run at all, there's something fundamentally wrong, and you're going to have to supply a lot more detail to get a helpful response.

I'm running all of the desktop machines wired and all the laptops wireless, and it's running seamlessly.

Can you see the server if you go to "network neighborhood" or whatever its called in the version of Windowz you're running? Can you browse the contents of the server from the client machine?

Question: What are the other wireless functions like? Can those clients reach the internet thru the router? I gather you have all your computers "behind" the router, yes? Have you tried Jon's little tutorial on setting up a P2P? Not sure it exactly applies to you in your enviornment but it is a good explaination for the other one.

If your clients can't reach the net yet, then something is still not right in your wireless setting, whether with the clients or at the router. Like anything else wireless do your best to lock it down tight with WPA type encription and MAC addresses to limit who can be on the network. I'm using specific IP addresses to boot....
Good luck
Paul
