I did see treat some Sick As Hell Anemia. Occasionally we had an unfortunate woman with Fireballs In Her Eucharist. I do not remember any more, I may be getting Oldtimers Disease.

Your play on words are hilarious. But, you need to list the answers at the end. We can't figure out "Fireballs In Her Eucharist." Is that fur balls in her uterus?

We have bats in Alaska too! I was quietly working on the computer in my den when something swooped out of the closet, nearly hit me in the head, then flew out into the hallway. I was extremely startled and yelled like my wife has never heard (she was in bed). I followed it to the living room and it was flying back and forth. I had to actually approach its pattern to open the deck door, and this was the worst. Finally it went out the door: glad I didn't have to hurt it so it could continue to eat mosquitoes that are so plentiful here. I think it must have come in an open window at dusk and perched in the dark closet.

Would rather have the mosquitoes.

As this forum is the pre-eminent source of "bat attack news" on the internet (and recognizing the resurrection of the NBA), I am posting a new link. It's old news, but almost as high profile as Bert's incident...

There is a NY Times report about the incident; apparently they didn't test the bat, and Ginobili got the rabies IG series.

First, that's pretty silly of someone to try to touch a bat, then to carry it. What about the guy who grabs it from him. Bats will try to act dead to get away. How difficult would it have been for the bat to nip him?

Then PETA compares it to Michael Vick.
