I have been using AC for some time now, and have a question. Is there a way to set AC so that the summary page comes up when a chart is initially opened (instead of the Most Recent Encounter page).

If you highlight the patient name in the patient list or on the schedule, you can use F6 to go directly to the summary sheet, although as Bert says, you can't change the default.

I use the F keys frequently to directly access part of the chart:
F5 Demographics
F6 Summary
F7 Most recent encounter
F8 Past encounters
F9 Imported items

Dev,

If you go to the User Poll done prior to the Amazing Charts User Conference, #62 is very much like what you are talking about. It receieved 20 votes, which was no small amount.

I wrote that one. I have been pushing for a "face sheet" to open first for months. I don't know how many times I have diagnosed Pulmonic stenosis, Asperger's, etc. over and over, because I tend to not look at the Summary Sheet or what I would want, a Face Sheet.

Electronic records should resemble paper charts as far as flow as much as possible. And, in a patient chart a face sheet with a problem list, PMH, allergies, med list, etc. if the first thing you look at.
