Is anyone using a good vitals machine that can be uploaded directly to amazing charts. My staff are lost entering all the vitals manually.

I know of no machine that can do this - how about having a piece of paper that they take with pt and just write vitals down, it takes 30 seconds for you to enter (not sure why it is hard for them).

No offense intended, but I don't find it that difficult to enter the vitals into Amazing Charts.
What seems to be the issue with your staff specifically when entering vitals into Amazing Charts? The more information you could give to people on the boards, the better the community can assist you with advice.

We also, do not see a problem with entering vitals. I have done plenty myself when I pull a patient in or "me too" a sibling. Takes about 10 seconds.

Well, entering the vitals is a breeze, but I cannot tell you how many of these "medical assistants" have told me that they didn't know how many inches were in a foot. So if the patient is 5'7" tall, and they need to enter it in inches,....they don't know how to figure it out! Huh? What's up with That?! I have a 2-buck calculator for them to use, but Garbage In, Garbage Out. Just 2 weeks ago, saw the look on my face when she said it, then guessed 16. Some have begun to tell me how the MA program didn't teach them math. They also don't teach them to take a throat culture. I swear sometimes I think they were playing Dungeons and Dragons and someone cast the spell Feeblemind on them. My 5th grade nephew didn't believe me when he overheard me talking to his mother, then giggled and joked about for a whole weekend.
ooops. sorry for the rant. but mbfoot, I believe you.

We do vitals more than any other procedure so saving ten seconds and automating would be HUGE time saver. I eagerly await an interface with WelchAllyn vitals station or etc. Would purchase in an instant!

I haven't even looked but can you choose if certain vitals are shown on the note if not used? We have PFTs or whatever showing up.
While this suggestion by me got only four votes (likely the only four pediatricians on the board), my MA can do math and pretty much everything, but she can't always enter the weight in the same format.
So, we get kg, kg, lbs, kg, lb, lb. Very helpful when you print out the vitals on a FTT baby and get those numbers. Really need two columns, lbs in one and kgs in the other or just allow one only.
