I have not played with V6.0 as we are waiting for AC to recovery from Irene as well as for the repairs of 6.10 to hopefully fix a few of the most problematic bugs. Sooo, while we are in the "Wishing" mood My doctor and I'm sure others too, needs the ability to edit her DEA license number between her two separate ones.... Like the Feds couldn't make this anymore of a PITA for us and our Vendors who have to then deal with this for us....
You see, when writing all of her Normal, including all controlled substances she needs to have her "regular" BB license # show on the Rx's...
BUT, when she writes an Rx ONLY for one of the Suboxone products, then she needs have her BX license # appear on the thing instead.... Not our call or desire here but what is Required by all those lovely folks back "where father and mother knows best" for the rest of us as you all know...
So it would be nice to be able to enter both in her set-up function and then have a choice of two check boxes, radio buttons to choose one or the other, and probably have the program NOT allow both.... But we should make sure there would never be a reason to need both on one Rx before making the program help us by idiot proofing it in such a fashion of Only One of the two choices allowed on any one Rx at a time....
Thanks much and if it is already in the program, sorry for being a pest here....

Simple if able to include both. Also do the scripts need her license number?

If you put the Second DEA # in the comments section then both are printed on the Rx. This works in my area. The Rx writer remembers it also.

Ya, I just thought it would be nice if one could input the 2nd Suboxone ONLY number, and that AC would simply KNOW, Oh Suboxone meds always get the number entered in the 2nd number space, box in personal set up... Make it Mindless and have the program do the heavy lifting for you, so you don't forget...
Like I said, Not a Huge Biggie Here... But it is the perfect place for software and databases to do that sort of make sure the human error factor doesn't first enter the data stream or product... Like no OB/GYN female specific Dx or E&M codes allowed for someone who is already designated "Male" in the demographics or visa versa... Right???? This is sort of the perfect place for that kind of "Idiot Proof" the final product with defaults and If this then only that or if this then none of the other thing....

Why not put suboxone DEA as comment on suboxone Rx and keep it there?

That's where I put mine - on the comment line. It remembers it after that.
