Where do I see what eRx has been transmitted in the past without looking at the individual notes. In addition, i often refill via eRx but don't save note. Where can I go to show that it was sent when pharmacy says they never got it? Thanks!

Or, go to the medication section on the summary page and choose the medication in question and then select "history". This will tell you haw many days ago, quantity and refills authorized by whom.

Great! Thanks alot... now it would be nice to see the eRx with date range and not just one date at at time...
how are you guys documenting a refill was done? i've just been saving addendum and it seems to clog up the past encounter tab... anywhere else i can document and leave a paper trail?

If you refill a medication without creating a note in the chart the refill is visible by opening up the medication box and looking at the "history". I agree about creating multiple entries to the reocrd, visit history gets clogged up. Although you can select what type of item you want to view in visit history and select only the encounters not messages.

For refills, I have the front desk send me a message with the refill request for each patient. I open the message and then click on refill to open the prescription box. After submitting the refills (faxed, eprescribe or printed)I close the prescription box, the message now has the refills entered. I can save the meesage as documentation or can also send it forward if something else needs to be done (pt. overdue for visit). This is still on v5.029 however. Not upgraded yet, scheduled for next week with tech support. Greg

Greg, We do it the same way, though as Dallas points out, this does fill the past encounter tab with messages.
