Apparently the main computer was converted to a media player by an update installed on all the terminals this morning, xp vista and window 7. Despite having automatic update disabled, windows still installed the media player update. Don't know if it is sql server related or not.
I did a system restore on all the terminals back 4 days..... And they are all working.
Don't know if this will happen again, but AC tech support can not be reached, likely due to about 500 phone calls flooding their call center.
