I do not know how to remove No Known Drug Allergies from a patient's allergy list after adding a new allergy. It will not remove when I highlight it and click remove. Does anyone know how to do this. It shows up on their encounter: example: NKDA, simvastatin. Please help me!!!

What version of AC are you using? When I highlight a drug and click remove, it works in V6.09

go to "write scripts" in the prescription writer click on "eprescribing" on the top left menu bar. Click on "Manage via NewCrop screens." then wait. wait some more. Click on the red underlined NO KNOWN DRUG ALLERGIES. Then click on DELETE THIS ALLERGY in the grey box with blue letters. Viola. Then X out of the electronic prescribing window. And wait. And wait some more. Then X out of prescription writer. and you are back at your note and NO KNOWN DRUG ALLERGIES should be deleted. Good luck.

This is a bug which was fixed after 5.029, so upgrading will help you. Here is a discussion which has a work around that may or may not work.
