Since installing 6.09 on my 'main' computer running windows 7, the computer freezes after a few hours of inactivity requiring a manual reboot each morning. Same computer worked fine on 5.

Did you monitor resource usage? By freeze, do you mean the mouse becomes unresponsive/nothing works?

Freeze: Mouse does not work, blank screen, fan on, computer light on. Thank you.

Is the Hard Drive activity light blinking?

When the screen goes blank, does it say Signal Not detected. How would you know that the mouse doesn't work if the screen isn't on? Also, check your power settings as these conditions resemble a computer entering into S1 Sleep Mode.
