Some of us are waiting on the side lines while you brave souls grapple with the V6 beta. Are you still on v6.0.9 or has there been another update? It seems like there are still a lot of bugs to iron out so I would appreciate you guys letting us know what the latest version is and how it is going so I can jump in when it is more ready for prime time. BTW, I certainly appreciate those of you who are sticking your necks out for the rest of us.

I asked the same question yesterday to support. Here is the response:

The development team is working on the next version of Beta, which is version 6.0.10. They want to make sure that all the bugs and issues have been addressed before releasing. They have not given us a definitive time frame on when this will be released, but I believe it will be shortly with the final version being released shortly thereafter.

As far as I know 6.0.9 is the latest release. They are probably working with alpha versions at AC Central but 6.0.9 is stable.

I have many errors when looking up ICD9 codes in the current v6.0.9.

Thank you for starting this thread, and thanks for the "official" update, DCubed...I just emailed AC Support with the same burning question: when is the alpha V6 coming out?

Last week I read somewhere a post from Bertman saying it would be out THIS week.

Never mind the impatience factor, now MTBC is practically HARRASSING me to upgrade to the beta! I told them, ever since I had a beta crash my entire network and lose me a whole day of patient care, I don't DO beta versions, sorry!

I am not upgrading until the Star printer is fixed. And, when it is the final release. I didn't know we were only at alpha. I thought it was beta version. Alpha versions don't generally could put on the website for download.

The key question is what do they mean by "shortly", and "shortly thereafter"? We have already had multiple delays....

Oh sorry, Bert, I meant "final V6" rather than alpha. I don't know what they call it when it's no longer a beta, though.

As DCubed said above, V6.0.10 is a beta.

Keep in mind, the same guy who said, "We expect to release V6.0.9 'officially' the first week in July" is the one who promised V7 by January 1....2011. But he still has a day left...

On the positive side, I don't see many significant issues with 6.0.9. Things that bug me, but no major issues.

Actually you only need a version of 5.1 (which is still also technically in beta) to meet MTBCs standards. I have not had significant problems with betas, but I understand the retiscence (sp?). Hopefully 6.0.9 or 6.1.0 will be out soon. officially

I am in a panic. We were told today that a practice got their Meaningful Use attestation rejected because they didn't have a letter from Amazing Charts saying that they were eligible for V6.
Does anyone have info on this????? Pls. help!
