On computers with XP Pro we were having errors that said they were memory errors and errors when printing a CCD everytime a new window popped up. The memory error were crashing A/C but the other errors were just annoying, you could press "ok" a bunch of times & complete what you were doing. Tech support said it sounded like a hardware memory so I swapped memory with an identical PC that was not having problem with same results.
I believe the problem happens when Crystal reports kicks in & pops up a preview. The fix for this was simply to go to Display Properties / Settings / Advanced / Troubleshooting and turning the "Hardware Acceleration" all the way off.
