Folks, We have a ghost in our system. When any of us on any computer in the house click on Oct 31st 2007 to look at that days schedule, we get a crash and a bug report with over a dozen errors type of thing. We can look at the entire week without any issues and another other day before or after the 31st. Andbody else being haunted by the ghost of EMR's past??? This is not any April Fool's type posting or a simple joke, this is for real. Happy haunting everyone.... Paul

We're fine, of course, we put "Happy Halloween" in the comment field for that date. Maybe it "debugged" it... Tee Hee!

Actually in the end it was quite easy. But Tech Support was working with Nancy who is not as familiar with the backside of AC. They had her try to re-enter the scheduled hours for all providers. No change. But they didn't stop to think that she is not the tech guy in the house and simply ask her if she had run Amazing Utilities. So it dawned on me last night to ask her and sure enough she didn't and tech support hadn't suggested it either. So I ran AU and sure enough, seems that problem is solved. As we stagehands used to say in the theater: "Is it plugged in?" But it sure was so much more interesting and mysterious sounding because it was only on Oct 31st. I swear for real. ooooooooooo

Vinny, That is one of the best parts of being a parent. Is doing holloween and experiencing it thru your kids eyes. I will never forget Naomi's first real trick or treat at two. She was all done up as a Tellatubie. She caught on real fast. I ring the bell, say trick or treat, they smile and glow at me and I get lots of candy in my bag. One of the first houses we went to had a great little poodle. She just takes off into these people's house. It's like our 2nd month in the area and we know practicely nobody yet and there she is tearing after this little dog in the house of folks I don't even know yet. The wife was laughing hysterically and screaming for the entire family to see this tiny little tellatubie chasing after their dog. It was priceless. Wish I could have taped it. Matter of fact I would say that is how I first got to know most of the folks, was by going around with the kids, and them coming by our place on holloween with their kids. Fingers crossed for dry weather, which with our Great Lakes is always an iffy thing. Anyway, thanks AC, I can take a hint; not that I really needed on. I'm gonna go have a great time with my kids. DocMartin, Cool screen name. Is your name really Dr Martin or do you like those english boots and "play a mean pinball"??? So how does a guy from all the way over on the left coast know so much about great shops here in CNY? Are they doing net business with you?
I myself am a Mopar, Jeep man who preferes to go on all 4's instead of two wheels, but to each his own. And your weather there is much more friendly to two wheels than ours is too. One of the main (Maine, Bert are you out there?) reasons I love my Jeeps too. Gets me and the kiddies to the hockey rink safe and on-time. Anyway, nice to make your aquaintance.... Paul

Hey, what happened to Halloween this year? I'm in a safe area in suburbia, the weather is beautiful, and so far less than 10 kids. I don't think I'm that scary...
