Hi, I am brand new to the forum. I think it is great to see the specialty and location, so I will say right up front I am a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice. I love Amazing Charts, but would like to know, if any of you can tell me, can the Daily Collections or Batch report reflect total cash (ie non insurance) collected, and not just co pays? Maybe this post should go on the wish list area, but was not sure how to add it.

I've not really used the daily collections. But I do know from previous frustrations that adjustments and cash payments other than co-pays were not reflected in the balance when I use to upload these things for billing. I've not bothered with it since. I just use a spread sheet to keep track of payments taken at the window.

Perhaps that has been, or will be fixed as AC comes out with a PM module.

Thanks Barb. I do see this that many people are using spreadsheets or the schedule. I can keep a daily cash log, I just wondered if it was something that AC tech support was working on.

I have yet to play with some of the newest releases but about a year ago the math in this section was far from perfect. Not so much the daily ones, but like if you did monthly financials. There are a number of old posts about this. If you were to do basic checks for the math, this, times that, didn't equal the other thing. Or this, divided by that, did not work out right either. But for all I know, AC has now attended to the bugs in the math, but I am not aware of such. Anyway, until we all know for sure I would not take the math at face value. At times the amounts were not off by that much so for quite some time, I didn't catch it right away. I gather with AC getting ready to release that new version 4 that is supposed to have lots of PM in it, that at least by that point such bugs will have been worked out....
