AC v5.0.29 does not seem to have the new immunization administration codes 90460 and 90461 (CPT 2011). These have replaced 90465/90466/90467/90468 when billing for childhood immunizations. Since January 2011 you bill EACH component of the vaccine beginning with 90460, then 90461 for each subsequent component. For example: DTaP is 90460 for the D, 90461 x 2 for the T and aP. Sure makes billing those 2 month well child examinations fun - 12 lines of CPT codes in Medisoft and you're done.

That is absolutley ridiculous! Glad we dont do peds. Man, all pediatricians should refuse to do any immunizations. They just keep making things more complex and time-consuming to report (which is of course required).

Hi AmazingDave,
You can add the CPT codes to Amazing Charts, by clicking on View, then Codes(ICD9/CPT) on the Main screen. You can also get there by hitting F12 on the keyboard. Once you are in the Code Search screen, click Edit Codes in the upper left hand corner, the CPT editor will open. Click Add New Code, enter the code, charge and description, then click the Add Code button, on the right. That will add the CPT to the database.
Also please be aware that our beta v5.1.7, available on our website, has the CPT 2011 codes already in the database.
