That first weekend in June is a big weekend for school graduations. Would anybody ever consider changing the conference weekend to the second weekend in June? - or perhaps consider changing it this one time

I'm sorry Bruce. I was kind of kidding. There is no way to change it now. A lot of work has been done, the hotel nailed down, etc. If you really feel strongly about it, I would email Dr. Bertman.

Hi Bert -

While I suspected the date may be a fait accomlpi, I am curious . . . how *does* one email Dr. Bertman?

Bruce,

As mentioned in an earlier post, there may be another get-together this fall in Tahoe. Those plans are still not finalized. This one however is being put together by users and is not formally sanctioned by AC

Leslie,

I meant the "be like Bert" conference as a joke. Sorry...

Yes. No date has been picked and no details confirmed...just an idea trying to blossom. Jump in with ideas.

I would be up for meeting up with other users sharing ideas, work arounds, and coming up with a list of suggestions that can help make it better. I know that lately I have been talking directly to one of the Support people and though I have bashed support on here a lot, they have been awesome about looking into bugs/issues and finding answers for me.

If we give them a formal list, and they can reproduce the issue, they are more then willing to work on it as they can.

Thanks!

Can we do Vail instead of tahoe for skiing purposes...or am i the only skiier on here!

I think it would be helpful to have more frequent meetings getting together at a large conferences like PriMed which has broad geographic coverage. Probably fewer people but more people overall.\
Maybe an evening meeting at each major PriMed venue??

Make that suggestion to Jon B. I know it is very expensive and time-intensive to put on one of these programs. Our "off the record meeting" would be unsanctioned. Very little organizing, a lot of cordiality.

I am sure there is some drink out there that combines both. I will have to look it up on my Android Bartender's app smile

The agenda is pretty well already set. Hopefully it will be published in the next few weeks. But there will be a developer's session where users can discuss needs and wants.

Leslie is the agenda for Tahoe or Rhode Island. RI is a tough one for me to make.

The agenda for RI is set. The Tahoe one is still just an idea.

I have to say, I am a little frustrated by the fact that the only way I can fully learn to use AC is to pay thousands of dollars in airfare, lodging, entrance fee and lost revenue to go to a conference in another part of the country. It would be really great if the lectures were recorded and made available to those of us who pay annually for the privilege of using AC.

To my knowledge, there are plans under way to have a videographer record the lectures.

I know there was discussion of this prior to the last ACUC, but it never happened. I just want to say that video recording would be tremendous for those of us who cannot attend (especially if online access to the videos is available). There is even benefit for those who are there and want to review the presentations later.

As far as the filming, I know that Jon has asked for filming proposals, and is working on seeing what is feasible. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I know that Jon has been working on a plan.

Sorry for the delay, haven't been able to drop in as often as late. For future reference, if someone is looking for my input, it is probably a good idea to drop me an email or a PM so that I know.
