How do I delete an immunization in 5.1.8? R clicking or hitting delete in summary or immunizations has no effect.

It works in 5.17 and 5.15, which are the versions I have in the offices.
Double click on the vaccine in the summary section and there is a delete button and it works.
If it does not work on multiple machines, send an error report and mark it urgent.

Bill,
Wendell is right. Just one technicality. It's what I call the X effect.
If you click on the VACCINE name, it takes you to the HM window where you enter the vaccine. You can't delete there.
If you click on any of the DATES the shot was given, it takes you to an edit window where you can delete.

Hi Dr. Leeson,
You may want to go to the Help menu on the main screen of Amazing Charts just to be sure of your version. We do not actually have a 5.1.8 build out. I apologize ahead of time if that was just a typo. Bert is correct about the delete function for immunizations though. You need to double-click on the date of the immunization you want to remove. It is done by date as some users may want to remove or edit an entry for a specific dose or series of immunizations given on specific dates without deleting the immunization history as a whole. Also be aware that there is currently not a function for deleting injections. Once those are entered they cannot be removed.
On another note, for Dr. Wheeler, we recommend you have all computers running the same version. All local computers should be running the same version as the main. If you have 5.1.7 on your main you should update the other computers as well. Do not leave them running an older version. This could cause some database problems going forward.
Thank You,
Joe

The date trick worked. I was deleting on the vax itself. That problem is solved but it brought up another one which may be old news. When you enter a Tdap, it automatically puts in Td as well. When you delete the Td, the Tdap goes, too. So we are stuck c 2 vaccines given on the same day only one of which is correct. Joe, Sorry you are still stuck back on that antiquated V5.17 while I am cruising on 5.1.8. I'm just way ahead of you guys.

Bill,
While I find it hard to believe that in version 5.1.6 and 5.1.7, Tdap (as it is called in AC) still brings a Td along with it. The positive thing is the following.
The one workaround is that if you check Show Brand Name, it will show Boostrix or whichever one you have chosen and will not show a Td. Even if you print, it will not. The positive thing in the later versions is that AC remembers the check mark in the box next to Show Brand Name.

Bert, The Show Brand name only does hide the Td but it is still there. And, yes, in 5.1.7 it still brings it along.

Oh, yes, I know that. But, it keeps it off the printout. Also interesting that only two people have selected that in the poll. I guess a lot of people like the extra vaccine, lol.
