I'm using the new/improved AC (from version 3.7) for the first time today and have a question about the order form. (now that our computer issues are fixed (thanks to spiffy new computers)

When I order labs and I print the requisition out for the pt, it does not save it in the chart unless I send the lab to someone. Is this correct, or am I missing a step. Shouldn't there be a way for the printed lab to show up in the plan?

Thanks,

Barbara

It will show up in the plan but will not be searchable in the PREVIOUS VISITS - I just send to myself and then save it. You could also save it to a dummy provider or to your receptionist and then they could look when the labs come in and save it as a double check. It is just one extra step - some do not save it so it does not clutter up the previous visits, but I find it best to do this.
