OK-so I figured out how one could do this once AC is installed on the laptop.
Here is my conundrum. When I set up my office, I set up the server and 3 computers on a network via a router. All laptops recognize the router and pull the info off of the network. I am now semi-downsizing and need to switch things up.
How can I set up AC and the info that is currently on my server, onto a laptop so that I can go out and do home visits , second offices etc, and then go back to the server and "sync" the info. Thoughts?
I would like to try and avoid gotomypc etc because I will want to use a Midmark EKG and that may cause problems if I am working virtually through a citrix program.

In the initial setup of AC there is a question about whether the machine you are installing on is your "main" computer (think the DB server). One of the choices is something like "sometimes/maybe .. I use this computer remotely then bring it back" - install with those options.
It is obviously important that you remember to sync upon return, but that should give you the flexibility you need.
