I need a way to effortlessly export my medication list to some sort of a spreadsheet or table that I can hand the patient that shows them exactly what they're supposed to be taking and when.

Is there a way to do this without having to retype a medication list.

I just highlight the list in the medications box, then press <Ctrl>C to copy. Then open Word or some other word processor and press<Ctrl>V to paste the list. With a little formatting it is quite readable for patients.

Barbara:

How about printing the summary sheet and giving them a copy. Circle the active med list with pen. Your nurse may need to explain what qd or qod is..

Thanks, this will work for some, but not all. I see a fair number of Elders...I'll have to make up my own form for them.

Enjoy your day,
