Thanks in advance

I believe there is an error - if you send (even to yourself) you can then just go in your e-mail and save to the chart. If you do this while in an office note it will then let you save in the chart.

No, they were not sent at all. We wrote orders and choose the option Save (but don't send). Now we can't figure out where they are "saved" to

This is how it works for us:

If you are in an encounter and go to "Orders" and then choose "Save (but don't send)", it prints the orders in the "Plan" portion of the encounter. I think this is how it should work.

If you are in a message and go to "Orders" and then choose "Save (but don't send)",....it seems to delete the orders AND the content of the message, and the orders are not saved anywhere.

You might think that is a bug, but I don't think so...if you are in a message, you are, by definition SENDING the orders. The solution is to NEVER hit "Save (but don't send)" when you are in a message. ALWAYS use "Send" when you are in a message, and the order will appear in the message.

Did that address your issue, Sky?

Yeppers!! That was what I was looking for. I think that the main issue is that we have just switched to a cloud server and things are a bit slow to update. Dr is a bit impatient. The two don't match well some days.

I found it in the plan exactly where you said it should be.

Thanks a bunch!
