Me too. It will be interesting to see how two way pharmacy link will work. If efficient it may cut my staffing needs.

I have seen the refills - have actually been doing them the old way using newcrop since Version 4 (stubborn) and at the last conference Jon was demonstrating the new version. I have seen it in action and it looks much better.

Yes you can do them much quicker on 5.1. There is a link right beside on-line services that loads all the refills. Right now they are working on the matching of meds to automatically set it up (no extra mouse clicks). Not perfect yet but they are working on it to make it better. Patient names match well but not meds well yet. They want this to work well per AC as this is one one the main things in 5.1 as they are getting away from new crop screens as I understand from Jon's comments this summer at ACUC and earlier posts. This is a set of drop down boxes to pull up options and it is doing well. It is a night and day difference from new crop screens (much easier and my staff likes it).

I just put this question somewhere else too-but will the 90 day supply and the mail order scripts be addressed?
Right now, it is not hard to do by just using a 90 day supply and faxing via updox.

I have been sending to medco, caremark, aetna rx, express, rightsource all 90 day scripts through newcrops. Even when I get the medco requests in updox, I respond in Newcrops to get the record in the patient's chart.

For now, I fax the prescription back through Updox AND put it in the patient's chart at the same time to have a record of it.

I do realize that e-rxing these is preferable and plan to do so when 5.2 is out (at the latest).
