Using the scheduler, when I cancel or reschedule a patient on October 25, 2010 who has an appointment scheduled visit on November 10, 2010. A note pops up showing that the appointment scheduled for October 25, 2010 was canceled. 1. This is not correct. the appointment that was scheduled was for November 10; not October 25. 2. The note is only editable that will save to the chart as a message, but when checking for missed appointments, the popup note will show that the apt for octobwer 25 was cancelled.
So.... I would like the note to reflect the day of the missed appointment correctly, and or it would be nice to be able to edit this note that pops up so it will show up when I click on the red missed appointment button. Thank you

Well, I solved my problem. I was removing the apt by right clicking on it. What I should have done was highlight the name in the apt scheduler and then choose to remove the apt from the remove box on the left lower side. Then it seems to work just fine.

I guess you are right. It is hard to not show up for an appointment prior to the date of the appt. I do think it should default to the day of the appointment and not the day you canceled it. But DNKA is meant for no shows and not for pts who reschedule.
