I was fiddling with the reports button to try to get a list of all my diabetic patients and report those who have or have not had a hemoglobin a1c in a certain time frame.
I can get the menu to list everyone with diabetes, but when I go to "Lab/orders" and down to "test name", there is nothing I can select for "test name".
When I order labwork, I do it through the orders button and I have a box for "Hemoglobin A1c". None of my preset orders actually appear in "test name".
Anyone have a way to make this work? I hope so, this is one of the prime features of an EMR I wanted. Now that I have been using this almost a year, I should be able to bring up the patients that need to be nagged.
