The new Amazing Charts public website went up over the weekend.

Any feedback you want to give us? Experiencing any problems? Find any bad links? Is it easier to find the information you need?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

The website looks great. Haven't had too much time to browse it.

The problem for me and possibly many is that it has broken the board. I can barely use it.

It seems to have erased many of the avatars.....otherwise it is working for me (Bert cannot get it to work for him).

Once I started using AC, I stopped using the main website much (I just come directly here). That makes it a little hard to compare the new site to the old one. It seems more comprehensive, so it will take a while to look around. With a first look, it appears to be a significant upgrade. It has a cleaner, more inviting look and seems to contain far more useful information than the old site. It should be an effective sales tool. It is even possible for a regular user to learn something new...I never knew we could "drag and drop" schedule.

I have not had the issues that Bert refers to. I do find that I cannot consistently "preview" my posts before I submit them to the users board. (I hit "preview post" and it does not show up).

Of course a link on the site to download the user manual would be nice. (Sorry, I couldn't resist).

Oh, and thank you for asking. (seriously)

It is probably a conspiracy. I am sure there are those who are glad I can't post. smile Well, not easily.

I have to log out to see the posts, but then I can't reply. I then have to log in to reply, but I cannot see the thread. But, there is a blank window here (like this one) that I am pretty sure will go where I want. Of course, after I send it, I will have to log out to read it.

I notice that the Wiki is now called Self-Service Resources/How-To Guide for Users. However, I don't see any way for a contributor to edit or update it.

Also, under "Mobile Solutions", the website refers to an "Amazing Charts On Call" iPhone app for $20, but I can't find it in the iTunes Store.

Is there something about BERT - maybe the board just thinks he has posted too much ???

Mobile Solutions - spoke with Jon and he said Iphone app goes with 5.1 and they were just waiting for Apple to approve for the app store......apparently like many other apps they have to wait.

Thanks for the feedback, Ryanjo.

We turned the Wiki into a user manual because it didn't appear that people were adding or editing the contents. Have you done it in the past?

I fixed the iPod App page to read "Available Nov 1, 2010."

I like the new site, it is clean and fresh.

The old site seemed a little dated, but mya have been easier to get around. Part of this is due to the fact that the new site has more information than the old.

Lot of good info. I don't go on the main site much either.

My last edit was a few weeks ago. But I don't think many people have been using it. Something updated by AC would be much more useful. Much of the information refers to earlier versions, so out of date.

AC is really in need of a detailed user manual. The intro videos are fine, until you want to really get down to work. There just isn't enough info about the finer points, and especially basic troubleshooting.

Is anyone still noticing that the times on the "Most Recent Posts" in the left column of the board are incorrect? I tried setting the offset for my time zone, but it doesn't reset anything. For instance, I am posting this at 9:35 pm Eastern, but the time in the column is 12:35 am. Is it only me?

It isn't just you. They are messed up. For example, Steven's recent post is at 11:29PM in "most recent posts", but on the post itself it is 9:29.
And to think, Jon is raising prices (insert sarcasm emoticon here).

I am relieved to hear that it isn't only me. I thought I might be trapped in a Twilight Zone episode.

Today I am noticing that the relative times of the posts on the forum, and the missing avatars are fixed.

Except for Steven.
