We have blank Rx's that have the Tear-Off Rx in the center, towards the top of each page. I am unable to get the Admin to keep the margins I set so we can print the controlled drugs. Does anyone have any suggestions or advise on this? I hate to have to reorder blank Rx sheets when we already have so many.

Are you referring to the twips?

The irony is one of the things that is fixed in 5.029 is:
OTHER
Fixed twip page sizing for prescriptions
It is ironic, because I think you went back to 5.028 where the problem still exists. I may have a workaround. I'll check.
Otherwise, I would reinstall 5.029 and register the .dlls if there are any issues.

You must log in as admin in order to set margins.

Wait, this seems to address a problem we've been having. When we upgraded to, I"m not sure which version, our scripts have been shifted slightly to the right. So now the end of the date doesn't print on the script, as well as maybe a couple of letters if the instructions are long. Is there a way for me to adjust it back say 5 spaces to the left?

Yes, just use the twip settins in Admin at the bottom under Set Prescription format as an admin.

Anyone in NJ use this feature? If so, please let me know what kind of paper you order and where it is ordered from. Thank You.

Wayne,
Are you logging in as admin? When I say that, I don't mean going to the main screen and selecting View and Administrator Options or using CTRL + A. I mean actually logging into Amazing Charts as the admin.
At the window where you choose your name in the drop down box and then type in your password, don't choose any user. Instead, type in "ADMIN" without the quotes, enter the admin password and select Log In. You will now see yourself in the admin window but WITHOUT Amazing Charts being open.
Now, select "Set Prescription Format" and set your twips. Choose "Save Prescription Preferences, and you are all set.
To test it, go back to the Set Prescription Format and you will see that your twips are saved.

I'm going to have to check that out.
It was one of my pet pieves (sp)in V4 that I could not get my Rxes to print right. Twips did not work in V4.
Once I started e-prescribing, I never looked back.

Guaranteed to work. You simply can't change them without being an admin. That is "admin" as in your AC dropdown sign in. When you type in admin and your password and hit enter the AC chart will go away and you will ONLY have the Administration window open.

yeah Bert, I didn't even know you could do that. Is there anything else that you know of off-hand that you must go into Admin this way to do?

This is the only thing I know of. If you find any others, please let me know. This is one of those things that AC shouldn't keep secret. You would think that under twips, it would say that. Then again, given the fact that Jon states he is fixing the twips issue, maybe they don't know about it.
