I just got back from a 2 hour lecture on meaningful use.
Is AC ready? My REC (Regional Extension Center) (University of Central Florida) will announce 8 "preferred partners emr vendors", Monday September 27, 2010.
UCF is one of 4 REC's in Florida , who have been chosen to implement meaningful use in Central Florida. Forty employees to serve over 1400 physicians. They received grant money (stimulus funds)to do this.
We were told to ask our EMR vendor if they were ready for stage 1 (2011). Are we? Will we be ready and committed for stage 2 and 3. CChit has nothing to do with this.
If we were, then in 2011, we could sigh our attestation for (sounds like CAQRH) and receive a lump sum payment of $18,000.00).

I think you need to talk with AC - they feel like they are ready.

I think that as each stage comes up they will be ready. Much is already in place.
