I can't get the patient demographics to print out when I use the letter writer to refer a patient despite clicking the box marked "Include patient demographics". What am I doing wrong? Dave

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. You got me on that one.

Demographics are in second window. You have to print letter, close and then print demographics.

Steven,
You shouldn't have to do that. I simply click on print and all three pages print.

Yes but multiple print screens come up and yo have to click on each one of them.
I actually like this feature, because occasionally, I forget to uncheck the box and can then skip that step.

The patient's expectation is that you have all the answers, sometimes they just don't like the answer you have for them

I don't know what I am doing. I can't get multiple screens to come up. I only get the note if I have checked the buttons, but all of them print. Guess I got the good version. I agree about unchecking the boxes. Should be opt in and not opt out. Dave, I'll send you my version.

I guess it boils down to whether your printer defaults to "All" or "Page X"

I tried Steven's method. After printing the obvious letter with the attached progress note, closing the print window reveals another window behind it with the demographics. That needs to be printed out separately by clicking on "print" again. It doesn't seem very intuitive. (Why don't you have to do the same thing to get the "letter" and the "progress note" to print?--No, I am not suggesting this would be a good idea). Bert, I'm on version 5.0.29. If you're on version 5.0.29b (for Bert's special version where everything works like it's supposed to) I would like a copy! Dave
