I wonder if I can add a drawing to the patient encouter. Is that possible? If yes, how?

Yes, you can all a picture, albeit a crude one. I am assuming you are talking one to enhance the physical. This is what you do:

Above the physical exam you will see the tab Illustrations. Click on this. Then choose Select Illustration. You can accept one of the preformatted pictures or make your own .gif, .jpg or .bmp file, although if you have to go to that much trouble it probably isn't worth it.
Once it is chosen, you grab one of the colors, and draw using a right-click technique. You can do up to two sketches.

The major FYI here is that you will not see the sketches on any future encounters or previous encounters. It will only show up for that particular encounter, which makes sense.

Thanks for your response. I did try it. it works exactly as you described.I wonder why I did notice that tab before.The illustration provided are very poor. I was thinking about making a sketch that help me remember the location of a lesion. Or adding a diagram that I showed the paient regarding a surgical procedure for legal documentation.I also could take some pictures of the patient lesions and added to that encouter. You are right it may be to much trouble, but at least I know it can be done for know.Some time you feel you may need more documentation for a trouble patient.It is easier to use a table PC to add a drawing.
This bring another question . The next confidential tab. What would you use it for. Is it part of medical record. I appreciate if you can give me an example what to use it for.

The confidential tab is to allow the documentation of confidential information that can only be seen by high level providers. Patients may wish to confide in you information they do not want others to see. Sometimes the nurse or secretary knows the patient or the sister of the patient, and the same confidentiality may not apply or, even if it does or should, they don't take it as seriously.

As far as I know it is not part of the record. If you print it, it clearly states it is confidential.
