How do you add a small note - like a phone call to a patient or a quick note from a patient (surgery date changed) not having to do with an encounter to a patient's chart? The only thing I can find is the addendum and that doesn't seem appropriate for what I am looking for.
Type a message, attach the patient's chart, and then instead of sending the message, click the Save to the Chart button. It shows up as a brief message in the Past Encounters tab on the patient's chart.
