Just wondering if anyone else misses the BCC icon that was under the search menu? I used this about quarterly sometimes more frequent to send mass emails out to my local patients. Ie flu shots or like next week please check your RX's as I am out of the office. It is no longer there. You can still use the database and export to excel but I had to do one city at a time for my local patients (tourism area). This just took so much longer than the previous way. Thoughts???

I don't remember that. You would just click on it, and it would open an email with all of the patient email addresses in an email?

That would be a great ability for sure. Here's what I have done to send an email to everyone with email addresses.

I have gone to advanced search, searched Demographics/Email address, "contains" "%". Run report and it will give you everyone in your practice with an email address. Then click "hide/show columns" and only leave the email clicked. Then select all (CTRL-A) thne copy (CTRL-C). This will copy all the email addresses. Then paste (CTRL-V) into the email address line of your browser and off it goes.

Once again, could you go into detail on how you did it before? Did it just bring up all the names in the BCC line? What does it do now?

I'm going to pull up an old machine with v4 tomorrow and see if I can reproduce the BCC line. Again, if that did exist, we need to bring it back although the rarity in which I send mass emails makes the method I use not too cumbersome really.
