updated adobe reader to version 9.3. It is not playing well with Amazing Charts, opens its own window and generally makes it difficult for me to review PDF files. AC Technical support has been not helpful, anyone with any ideas?I would low to go back to the old version(7?) but do not know how. I even tried repair of adobe and uninstall/reinstall of Amazing Charts to no avail.

See if you can find the option in adobe to open pdf's in a browser. You'll need to turn that on. It should be in edit>settings, preferences or something similar.
If that doesn't work you can switch to the pdf viewer Foxit. You should do a custom install so it doesn't install any toolbars onto IE and make sure it installs the plugins for IE and Firefox to open in browser. That should fix your problem.

Why can you not go back? Why can't you uninstall 9.3 and then reinstall 7.0. Actually 8.0 works fine.

I think Benjamin is right about this. We are using the same version of Adobe as you, and have not had any problems. Open Adobe, go to Edit, Preferences, Internet, and click "Display PDF in Browser". See if that solves the problem.

'Display PDF in browser' is clicked. I do not know where to get copy of old version. Not sure where it originally came from, and it disappeared upon install of 9.3. Please do not tell me to restore via windows, too painful/unreliable.

Sometimes Acrobat Reader needs some coaxing to play nicely with Amazing Charts. I suggest try the following: 1. Restart Windows after the Acrobat install so that the Windows Registry updates. I know you did it already after the first install but sometimes the Registry won't find the new resources on the first restart after an install. 2. Remove older versions of Acrobat or Adobe Reader using the Add Or Remove Programs utility in Windows. Then restart Windows. 3. Repair Acrobat 9 by using the Detect And Repair feature or the Add Or Remove Programs dialog box as follows: -Choose Start > Control Panel. -Double-click Add Or Remove Programs. -Select Acrobat and click Change. -Follow the on-screen instructions to repair Acrobat.

Tried above 3 steps, even tried repair twice: Once with a.c. open and once with it closed, Adobe 9.3 continues to not play well with a.c., I cannot find any old adobe programs on my computer to reinstall

You can download Adobe Reader 8.2 from this page. Adobe Reader 7 is here. Uninstall Reader 9 and restart before installing either of these.
