OK, this was weird but.... I was not receiving a message forwarded to me by my MA in Room 1, it showed up in rooms 2 & 3. I was logged into the same server, and I tried logging out, logging back in and even restarting the computer, all to no avail. The new messages would not show up.
I then synched the time on the computer to internet time (when I came in it was off and the battery did not hold the time, but I had set the time off my watch.) I thought it was only a couple minutes off.
Voila the messages showed up.
Intersting....

Wendell - is this your open-source messaging app?
Some of those systems store the messages in a DB, then output to clients based on the time domain.
I realize that is near onto gibberish, but based on the clock sync, that one client may have been [in the past] compared to the central server, so the messages hadn't reached NOW yet.

No this was AC messaging app. I thought about clock sync but I didn't think I was off by more than a few minutes (unless I was actually off by a year and didn't notice it )

Onbe missing message problem I have had many times is as follows. I will forward a chart to myself to complete later. When I look for it the chart seems to have been unidentified and has the wrong birthdate for the child, usually one in the future. I am unable to open these charts until the date indicated in the birthdate field passes. Of course by then it is way too late to bill the encounter.
This happens when the correct birth date is in the demographics. I don't know what changes it. The new one seems tobe one year after the date of the encounter.
Anyone else experience this and have a fix?
