Please issue an update to your export utility. We spend many needless hours dealing with it's "overwriting" exisitng data such as ICD-9 codes and "Date of Current". Amazing Charts is no longer fully compatible with EZ Claims in terms of importing data. Before the NPI updates to both programs, this process was not perfect but functional and did not overwrite important data. Thank you!

I;m glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this. EZ Claims says it's not on their end, so they keep telling me to notify AC, which I have done. I'm really bothered by the overwriting on responsible party. We input "Doe, John" but this comes out as "John Doe" in EZClaims, which in turns shows up as "Doe John" on statements and "John Doe" on claims. I was told previously by AC not to include commas, but it still defaults. Also, group ID and subscriber ID#s are transposed on the export, and these have to be manually changed all the time, after each export.

Has A/c addressed this yet? This sounds like a pretty urgent issue.

Yes, I contacted them before I posted here. They think it happened during the last AC update (?). Either way, it's a pain in the, ahem, patootie! After I correct the data in EZClaims, the next time I export from AC, I have to correct it again. It's a good thing we only have one provider right now! Donna

Well I just installed the update and there is no fix to the error. I can't help but take this personally when it affects my bottom line in terms of staff time and a higher rate of margin of error. I think what bothers me most is that I bought EZ upon recommendation of AC. Why is there concern for our cause? frown

We also use EZ Claim and it still works well despite being current with all updates. HOWEVER, when we export, we select "simple text file" as opposed to the "EZ Claim" file.

Hopefully that helps.

The AC export doesn't work. We always use simple text. Thank you for the input though.

I agree. Export from AC sucks. You cannot export to either Office Ally, which is free or EZ claim. The only way to do billing is enter the data manually again into another billing software or use the Amazing charts billing service and pay 5%. But lot of folks are not happy with their service.

What I'd like to do is export from AC to a nice package, send the file to a biller who uses said package, they submit and do all the follow-up (and shoot me some reports at the end of each month). Office Ally would do.

CristyH,

What am I missing here, you said the AC export does not work. my export works perfect. Copays, Icd-9s, CPTs, DOS, Demographics all carry over to EZClaim, them onto Gateway without a hitch. I am current with the latest official, (not beta), version. Where is the problem?

Is there still an EZClaim issue? I am on 3.6.11 and the simple text export is perfect. However, I am scared to upgrade since I hear people have had issues with later versions. Now however, I am told I need to for my lab interface. Any response or feedback appreciated???

I'll give you feedback next week when my office manager and biller are here. Everyone has gone home and I am not really sure how smooth things are at this time. I believe all is well? There were some startup issues.
