I upgraded to 5 from 3 one week ago. I'm not very pleased yet. Considering alternatives.
One big problem for me is that when using the templates I have constructed, they come out in funny order in the note. I used to be able to click on one, then another and regardless of whether one was above or below the other in the list, it would be printed in the order I clicked. Now, it consistently prints in the same order as the list is created. And if I click on a practice-wide template then on an individual template, it erases the first practice wide template. I'm not sure how many charts I might have screwed up before I noticed this happening!
Is it just my set up or is this the case for others?

Yes, htat is the same behavior I have noted.
Previous versions were entered in the order they were checked and now if more then one is checked at the same time they are entered in alphabetic order.
I much prefer the earlier version. Now I have to check one template and enter it and then open the window for the next template, etc. I guess now is the time to add this thread to the wish list also

That was first thing I've noticed after upgrade too. This is a problem because program changes the sequence of the templates pulled from the list. To have desired sequence with few templates each template has to be transfer to the note separately. Also program erases any changes made in the template when second template is picked before the transfer of the first one. Anothher change is in the sequence of prescriptions in the plan. In V4 all prescriptions were added on the top of the window now they are added in any part of the plan. Previous version was nice because they were all in the same spot and also they did not end up at the bottom of the plan if plan from previous visit was not changed too much except for new Rx.

You are right. It is painful to put the templates and then correct them or place these individually.
