We are currently just starting to use AC and we are also in the first stages of becoming a PCMH. I am wondering, since the PCMH wizard is not up yet, how are you tracking patient/provider agreements or other documented patient communications in AC?

I have no experience with PCMH, but until someone who does can speak up, you might just want to scan them into imported items.

I've been watching to see if the iPad will result in Google and Microsoft releasing hardware cheap enough to use for this.

I would love to be able to do that but we have reporting criteria we are expected to meet and we have to be able to do that by patient stats...i.e. 30% of patient base has patient provider agreement implemented....does that make sense?

Turn up the assembly line and don't fall off your hamster wheel!

Could you imagine Lawyers having to document the improvement in their clients' divorce cases and their communication with them just to get an extra $1.25 on a rediculously low to begin with $58 dollar visit.

Rail against the machine!!!!

Hmm, yes I see what you mean. Unless I've missed one of AC's new features, have you considered recording that data in Miscellaneous 3 on the demographics page? It would then be searchable by AC's reporting feature. The catch is that your staff `must use the drop down menu so each entry is `exactly the same, or else they won't all be searchable and you'll have extra entries in the drop down.

Does that help any? I'm not sure, but it might tide you over till PCMH is finished.

(edit: does anyone remember where the PQRI button in AC 5 is... I can't remember where I saw it)
