Last month, I managed to update AC to v5 and everything was running smoothly at first. But just one week into using the latest update, a 364 ERROR message came up at random interval whenever the doctor was trying to write an order and then save it. He said there is no pattern to the error. It just seems to occur whenever he writes an order for a patient under his account.

We use a network of 7 computers (one of which is the server with the database). The server is under Windows Server 2003 for Small Businesses.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, same problem when placing orders...but mainly for only one of three providers. We are on v5.0.24 but per the update website it says support is still working on the issue as they are having a hard time replicating at the company. we also are using Windows Server 2003. This is the only big bug that we are having w/ V5, otherwise loving it! (we are also getting error 91 (?) when we close the application but doesn't seem to harm anything.

Well, it's driving out doctor a bit crazy as the doctor is always busy and needs the application to run as smoothly as possible. To make matters worse, it forces the EMR to shutdown in the middle of writing an order.

I hope the guys solve this problem soon. Had I known that the version I installed was still a beta at the time, I would never have installed the update as everything was running perfectly in v4.

I was debating updating our office to V5, but it sounds like I should wait until they have this thing figured out with error 365. Any news about that from support?
It appears that it only happens when writing orders, in which case it might be worth the switch just to get the e-prescribing started...
I guess I haven't decided yet! Any thoughts anyone?

I would recommend waiting for the 364 error to resolve. If your doctor relies on writing orders, stick with v4.

It is a funny error - I have only seen this error once or twice and have been using Version 5 for months - write dozens of orders every day.......

When it happens 6-19 times in a day, it is not a funny error.

I have given my db to AC and I have spent a hour on line with the support staff working on this. Each time I hit that save key for an order, I wait for the error to show up.
Then I have AC shut down, wait for it to restart and then re-type the error (4-5 minutes . Thyat can add 45minuets to over an hour to a busy schedule and wasted time with the patients.

I meant funny as odd..... poorly reproducible. Unfortunately when they do find out what causes it then it may be something really easy. Hopefully for those people it willl be soon.

This error has been plaguing me as well. It probably happens once per day. It is usually when I send an order to myself. (i.e. and imaging order) Im using v 5.0.23

I will be installing a program with AC support this morning to "monitor" the "364" error.

Hopefully , they will get the information needed to correct this issue as this is getting really old.

One of the hard drives (RAID) failed as we were going to do this. Maybe it was a sign?

We are in the process of a RAID drive rebuild on the new hard drive. Once complete I will contact Claire to put the program in and hopefully we will get this problem fixed.

Hopefully we can also move on to the PM program soon.

I haven't been experiencing this error, but I was wondering if anyone could describe it in more detail.

Also, was wondering if those who are getting the error are checking the error logs on both the main computer and the one that it occurred on. Note the time and check for errors. Try to check right when it happens.

Also, try to write down in a notebook what is happening at the time of the error each time it happens. There may not be any coincidences at first, but the more it happens and the more you keep track of it, the greater the chance of finding the cause.

We are having the same problem.

Today the exact sequence was that the doc hit the order button from within a patient's chart. The order window comes up and he fills in the fields from top to bottom (per instructions from the AC tech support). Then he hits Print order (because any other button causes a crash). After printing he hit save without sending and . . . the program crashed.

Usually he simply hits the x in the upper right to close the order window, which generally works without crashing.
This happened with v5 when the LE1700 tablet he uses was running Vista Pro and it's still happening now that we've upgraded to Windows 7.

I get the "364 crash" only from the order section ( which seems to be everyone else's experience also). I think that this occurs most often towards the end of the day ( message boxes are full?) and less often earlier in the day. I also think that if I allow the cursor to hover over the "send" button for a few seconds longer that the "364 crash" is much less likely, and the crash occurs more frequently when I am trying to move quickly...( ???end of the day and tired???)
Until yesterday I have never lost the chart when it crashed back to the desktop...but yesterday the crash wiped out all of the information that had beeen entered into the chart of a new patient, it was painful trying to remember all the details of PMH, SH FH etc. ( we had already destroyed the questionnaire that the patient had filled out).
It sounds like some of us are not having the 364 error and others are having a lot of it.

The version that Bert is referring to is in Beta right now. What we have done is tested it in house and now have released it to a select few practices for them to test first. We want to make sure that it is fixed before we release it to everyone. If all goes well, we should have the version for everyone very soon.

Even this beta version is working really awesome. I have also been able to trigger the error a couple of times, mainly when I did something dumb on the order page and then I think I clicked something else before it was able to respond to my first dumb move. (send an order that wasn't there, then add the order and send again all while the Wi-Fi is saying, "What, did you say something to me")
My point is the error is a minor glitch, the thing crashes, you click No on the error report (since it is the same error AC is already working on) you reboot AC and it asks if you were working on something you forgot to save and you say, "yes" and you get your chart back. No data lost, about a minute of time lost and then back to work.
The e-Prescribing is FANTASTIC. I never dreamed it would be this easy! Absolutely awesome.

Yeah, compare that with the thing I had to go through 6 1/2 years ago. The company was so small then, I just picked up the phone and called Jon. Let me tell you, it was an out of control problem. It just went away. I'll never know why.

I really need to get on v5. I mean I have it on Virtual, but I think I just need to jump in. It's just that the learning curve is so steep compared to v1 to v4 which was rather flat.

For me, it's still all about the immunizations and either working with or working without the HM. It's a bit overwhelming at first.

Have people had good luck with upgrade to 5.028? I never got the error often and wondered if those people who had the issue have had it resolved.

I was one of the 4 initial test sites for this upgrade and it has been flawless. THANK GOD! I was getting the 364 error up to 6 times daily.

It's about time they fixed it. Everything is going smoothly now. A few (minor) issues came up after the upgrade, but that's for another thread.

I have been getting an error 363 with v. 5.28. This happens whenever someone is 'reconciling orders' under those assigned to everyone. It happens all the time now. Has anyone heard of this?

I don't know. You could try 5.029. But, you should email Jon or support.

I was told by tech support that I should upgrade to .029 and it should go away. I had high hopes, but staff continually getting this error this morning. It seems to only happen when reconciling an order assigned to someone else under the "everyone option"
