I just got an e-mail (Yesterday, 4/14/10) that Version 5 has been officially released. How come it still says I have the most up-to-date version of Amazing Charts when I check for updates or look at latest release info?

I believe they're sending those updates out by groups so support doesn't get overwhelmed. If they change the updates to state that the final build has been released the angels might have too many practices to help.

I also received that e-mail SLK istalking about, but I am a little afraid to upgrade at this time.
Will thenew version support the LabCorp link?

It still supports the LabCorp link. My guess is with each version, there will never be less, but generally more.

I certainly hope they are not sending notifications of official releases to only certain people. While it would make sense for the reason Ben gives, I would find it rather unfair.

We got the email, but our IT guy hasn't found that its out for general release on the web site. Perhaps we could get some clarification from AC on this?

It is. I downloaded and installed 5.0.26 from the website. It has the same name of AmazingCharts5026, IIRC, as the download from the beta site.

Benjamin,

I could be wrong, but i thought Carolie was referring to the fact that it wasn't the final release. ?????

Hmm, you might be right. I interpreted 'general release' to be for download on the main site. If you go to the main site and download as if you want a three month trial I remember it being there.

In that case, I thought Jon mentioned they might release one more point release.

I guess it's all semantics. I have to learn to let them speak for themselves. smile
