Hi All,
I wanted to put this out there to see if there is any sort of feature in Amazing Charts that works like the Microsoft Word Recovery system (and if not, I would add it to the wish list!)
Suppose we have an unsigned encounter open and then somehow the data in, let's say the Plan section, is accidentally erased (this has happened numerous times for our poor non-computer saavy Dr. - some slip of the hand on the keyboard and somehow all her notes are lost). Is there any way to recover this information? An undo button? I assume that since this information does not get saved until the note is signed off, there is no way to recover this information... Alas, I thought I would ask anyway.
Finally, has this happened to anybody else?
Thanks for your thoughts,
S.K.

If you immediately type control z it will undo your last change.
This is true of most windows programs including AC.
Thus if you accidently back space and wipe out the entire section, this will bring it back. Can't help if you somehow wipe the note (somehow reset to not using the prior note is a good example - no recovery) but it can help with simple stupid mistakes.

Ctrl + mouse-right-button-click and then select undo.
You are welcome.

Thanks for the replies. I actually found an old post on the UB that had the answer I was looking for. Apparently, there is a text document called LastNoteBackup.txt in the Amazing Charts program folder that keeps a back-up of the current open encounter in case something happens (once a new chart is opened, this text document gets replaced with the open note).
Often she doesn't realize something went wrong before it's too late to use Ctrl-Z. This has been an excellent solution and I'm not sure many people know about it.
