I am posting this so anybody else be aware when activating E-Precribing. I followed all the steps to activate the E-Rx module and received my activation code. When I placed it as directed in the apropiate field I keep getting an error message. This has been going on for the past 3 days. When I asked again to have the activation code verified I was told that is the correct code.
It turned out that instead of FL in the practice info on AC I used "Florida" when asked for the state. After changing it to FL activation went without a hitch.

Does anyone have a problem with erx when you put in quantity. it can't say ml/gms, etc. You can only put the number. Maybe its just me, but it drives me crazy when I write say,,, nystatin topical ointment and for quantity if have to put 30, or whatever quantity I want. It won't let me write 30g.. It just makes me a little crazy.

Currently there is no way to put units - AC advises me that the next version will put e-rx refills from pharmacies to AC screen and will include units. Baby steps....they did just change the refills on the newcrop screens to show 1 PLUS ___ refills (always did that, but they clarified it on the screen).

Thanks Steven, By the way, did I meet you in New Orleans last fall? I think that was you? If so, thanks for the information and tips on AC

I was at the AC booth in New Orleans - there to take board exams and hung out at the booth quite a bit.

I can't activate e-Rx - everything is entered but I keep getting a string of error messages. I have been told that this has to do with the way things are stored in my backup file on my server - but everything else works OK. So what to do?
