Does anyone know how to change the data base from SQL Express to SQL 2005 or 2008 since this may be a better option since more stable and faster. From my understanding there is a command sequence that will only attach the data base to SQL EXP 2005 which the developers only know and there is no way of moving the database to other SQL servers without this command. It may also a better choice for them to use SQL EXP 2008 wich functions with 2 CPU's and 2 GB of RAM. Any thoughts?

I have always had luck with making a backup and reinstalling AC and choosing I already have a database and attach to that instance. But it's been awhile. I do think SQL Express is a fairly robust database however.

There is a parameter, but it's not secret. There are detailed instructions on upgrading from SQL Express to SQL 2005. In addition, Microsoft provides a free downloadable upgrade advisor to identify potential problems prior to upgrading to SQL Server 2008. Remember to do a backup.
