We have just purchased AC. We have not yet utilized. When you push the email button on a patients profile it opens outlook email. Is this a secure email?

No, not by itself. The question comes up increasingly, and I have a client practice with the same issue, so it will take me a couple of days, but I'll respond in more detail with some examples of how you handle patient conversations in a secure (and HIPAA compliant) manner.
