I have downloaded the latest files and when I start the database tuner it can't find the "meds" files. The program won't start now.

What do you do now? Friday night at 11:26PM

Thanks to Claire, the upgrade is in place on the server.

I'll be going in today (my 18th wedding anniversary) to get the other machines up to speed.

thank you Claire.

Out of curiousity did you note what was wrong ? Is this something that others might run into or was it your network specific due to configuration???

I hope that tech support will see this, but none of the problems have been an issue with my practice. Any reason I should upgrade, or should I wait for a more relavent upgrade?

I think I will sit this one out.

The problem was associated with the database tuner.
Thanks for the anniversary wish.

It was unable to locate the "med" database.

Claire fixed it but I don't know the specifics.

I have not used 5.26 in practice yet.

As soon as I have some info , I will pass it on. (probably after I vomit after the vote on the hill).

Won't we still be facing a 21.2% reduction 4/1/10?

When will 5.0.26 be the version available on the website for general upgrade?

Frank,

At least we don't have to listen to any more health care reform news for a while. After receiving that letter full of whining and excuses from Dr. Joe Stubbs, the ACP president, about how the ACP leadership is supporting Obama-care (the "good enough for now" argument), I am so infuriated that I haven't been tracking the Medicare SGR debacle. I think that it got pushed off again to September.

With both AMA & ACP caving in and failing to get anything on the SGR reduction, tort reform, paperwork reduction, really anything meaningful, physicians came out at the bottom of the pile, as usual.

FYI - my upgrade to Beta 5.0.26 went fine using XP pro with 9 computers.
Although the process of politics is really messy at times, I am not clear what that has to do with the upgrade to 5.0.26.
